FACIAL DRY BRUSHING The Simple Path to Clear & Healthy Skin

I'm obsessed with the brushes. I didn't even put make up today because my skin felt so smooth and soft.

What is Facial Dry Brushing?

Facial Dry brushing is an ancient skin care ritual that is now back in trend among skin care experts. It is the practice of using a soft-bristled brush on the face to get healthier and brighter skin.

Facial dry brushing stimulates collagen production, improve skin tone and texture, and enhance the absorption of skincare products. Regular facial dry brushing leave the skin feeling smoother, rejuvenated, and more radiant.

The lymphatic system helps decongest puffiness and gives your skin an instant glow. Using the brushes also acts as natural exfoliation technique that won’t disrupt your skin’s natural barrier.

The full protocol only takes 1 to 2 minutes. It’s an easy morning ritual you can add to the beginning of your day.

How does facial dry brushing work?

If the lymphatic system doesn’t flow and drain effectively, the lymph nodes can become congested, and this can manifest as dull, puffy, or dry skin—or even acne or clogged pores.

The lymphatic system doesn’t have a pump like the circulatory system. This means that the lymphatic system relies on us moving or massaging specific areas to circulate.

Facial dry brushing strokes help move the fluid layer below the skin’s surface. The gentle and light brush strokes help the body’s superficial lymphatic system flush away excess fluid as they simulate the rhythm of the lymphatic vessels.

The lymph vessels lie just beneath the skin. To activate them, you need to use very light pressure, very light touch.

2

All your movements should be small little strokes that follow the patterns of the lymphatic vessels.

3

The result? Skin that feels and looks softer, healthier, and more glowing.

What are the benefits of facial dry brushing?

• Fewer fine lines
• Reduced dark circles
• Brighter appearance
• Reduced puffiness

Does facial dry brushing really work?

Yes, facial dry brushing really works! Healthy skin is directly related to the health of our lymphatic system, but this is often neglected as part of our skincare routines. If the lymphatic system doesn’t flow and drain effectively, the lymph nodes can become congested, which can manifest as dull, puffy, or dry skin—or even clogged pores and acne.

The strokes involved in dry brushing help move the fluid layer below the surface of the facial skin. These light, gentle brush strokes help the body’s superficial lymphatic system flush away excess fluid by simulating the natural rhythm of the lymphatic vessels.

How do I use facial dry brushes?

The brushes come with a cotton bag, tutorial cards, and free online tutorials that clearly explain how to use them. Simply scan the QR code that comes with the brushes to access these tutorials.

How often should I use my facial brushes?

You should use your dry brushes daily. The best time for facial dry brushing is in the morning, not long after you’ve woken up, and before cleaning your face or applying any products. It’s a great way to feel more awake and to get your lymphatic system moving. It helps decongest any puffiness and gives your skin an instant glow, and –the full protocol only takes one to two minutes. It’s an easy morning ritual that can help you set the right tone for your day.

What material are they made of, and where do they come from?

The brushes’ oak handles are certified responsibly forested by the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) in Sweden, and the goat hair bristles come from a chain of reliable suppliers in Mongolia from a region called Hebe. The brushes are sustainably handcrafted in Sweden.

How can I clean my facial dry brushes?

Never get the brushes wet. If they get wet, the hairs will tangle together, and you won’t be able to use the brushes anymore.

Clean your brushes once a week by sprinkling corn or tapioca starch on the bristles and massaging this powder gently into the brush. Then thoroughly shake it all out. The starch will absorb and remove any excessive oil and dirt.

I show you exactly how to clean your brushes in a video that’s part of the free online tutorials that come with the brushes.
