Your Teacher
Sakina Di Pace BSc(Hons) Lic Ac.
Meet your teacher, Sakina Di Pace BSc(Hons) Lic Ac. Sakina has been practicing acupuncture, facial cupping, and acupressure for the past 12 years, both in the UK and in the US. She started using facial cupping and acupressure, in addition to her needles, to help alleviate the pain of some patients with nerve conditions such as peripheral neuropathy, and to stimulate muscle strength in paralysis cases such as Bell’s Palsy.
Realizing how beneficial these two techniques were to her patients, she decided to incorporate them into her cosmetic acupuncture treatments. If they could stimulate paralyzed facial muscles, she knew that facial cupping and acupressure could work in helping to improve facial tone in her cosmetic patients. Adding facial cupping and acupressure to her traditional acupuncture treatments had an instant positive effect on all her patients. They just loved it! She kept using her facial cupping and acupuncture techniques with her patients until the 2020 lockdown arrived, where she unfortunately couldn’t see her patients face-to-face anymore. As a result, she had the idea to share her expertise and knowledge online.
What could be more beneficial to her patients than being able to do the treatment by themselves in the comfort of their own home? That is how the idea of creating an online course started. Sakina now teaches facial cupping worldwide, to beginners and professionals.
She’s been interviewed by NBC, POOSH, SHEERLUX, Les Nouvelles Esthétiques, URBAN SWEAT, and the HUFFPOST. The beauty of facial cupping is that you can do it anywhere, at any time.
